When Napoleon’s troops under Marshal Davout defeated Saxony and Prussia in the double battle of Jena and Auerstedt in the fall of 1806, Auerstedt Castle was the headquarters of the Prussian commander. Today, the walls of the castle house a variety of accommodation options such as apartments, maisonettes and vacation homes.

The two vacation apartments, which can accommodate up to 4 people, are located in the former outbuilding of the castle and impress with their spaciousness, clear atmosphere and modern furnishings.

Or enjoy your vacation in one of the three vacation homes at the Hotel Resort Schloss Auerstedt. The historic walls offer individual furnishings ranging from avant-garde to African and space for 2 to 10 people on several floors.

All vacation homes are classified with 3 stars by the German Tourism Association “DTV”. A coffee and tea bar awaits you on arrival for a welcome drink! You can also book a Thuringian country breakfast in a breakfast basket or a welcome basket in the evening for your vacation apartment or vacation home for an additional charge.
