The charming village of Hetschburg is nestled between Bad Berka and Weimar. In addition to a church, a horse farm, a restaurant and a blacksmith’s workshop, you can also explore the beautiful natural surroundings. Start a short hike from here to the Grafenholzhütte with the longest wooden bench in the middle Ilm valley, take a cycle tour on the Ilmtal cycle path or a ride with the horses from the nearby Hengstbachhof. Be sure to reward yourself with a delicious picnic basket from the restaurant “Zum Lindenbaum” in Hetschburg.
Die Gaststätte “Zum Lindenbaum” liegt direkt am Ilmtal-Radweg und lädt mit einem schattigen Biergarten und einem Abenteuerspielplatz vor dem Haus zum Verweilen ein. In der dazugehörigen eBike-Station können Sie sich Räder für eine Tour auf dem Ilmtal-Radweg ausleihen und der große Parkplatz ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Wandertouren rund um Hetschburg.
Sie haben die Qual der Wahl, denn den Picknickkorb gibt es in 2 Varianten “Rustikal” oder “Schickimicki”.
