Pure relaxation
in the Toskana Therme Bad Sulza
The area around Bad Sulza is reminiscent of Tuscany in northern Italy with its lush green hills, extensive vineyards and leisurely flowing waters. It is therefore affectionately known as the “Tuscany of the East”. An oasis of relaxation and tranquillity awaits you at Toskana Therme Bad Sulza. During your stay, you have unlimited access to the thermal baths and saunas and can float weightlessly in the body-warm brine water. Enjoy the magical sounds of Liquid Sound®, a unique sound experience that turns the thermal baths into a very special aqua experience. The music comes from all directions, from permanently installed sound columns above the water and special loudspeakers under the water.
4 days 3 nights
incl. half-board
A stay at the Hotel an der Therme means immersing yourself in a timeless vacation feeling. A wide range of leisure activities and the proximity to cities steeped in culture and history such as Weimar and Naumburg round off your vacation experience.
A covered “bathrobe corridor” leads directly from the Hotel an der Therme to the Toskana Therme, just 200m away. The approximately 7,000 m² bathing landscape is located under a futuristic domed roof and offers five indoor and outdoor pools, a spa area and an extensive sauna world with adventure showers and ice fountains.
Would you like to be a little more active? Take a relaxing bike tour along the Ilm Valley cycle path. Visit the historic oil mill in Eberstedt with a nostalgic Zuppin water wheel and the floating huts. When the time is right, enjoy live music in the mill’s own beer garden. Cycle on to Auerstedt, where the Auerworld Palace is well worth a detour. The willow-rod palace is one of the largest living structures of its kind in Europe. Our tip: treat yourself to a refreshing drink under the shady chestnut tree at the Auerstedt Castle resort. This is where the Prussian commander once set up his headquarters during the historic double battle of Jena and Auerstedt.
After your excursion, we recommend a regenerating water jet massage on the “Velus Jet” lounger, which is included in the price. Your tense muscles are vigorously worked and gently stroked by a warm jet of water.
Organize the day according to your wishes, the Weimarer Land offers many possibilities. Discover new perspectives on a walk through the nearby vineyards, stroll through the “Louise” graduation house in Bad Sulza or visit the Bauhaus Museum in the nearby cultural city of Weimar. Our tip: Take advantage of the good public transport connections and travel directly from Bad Sulza to Weimar by train.
At the end of the day, pamper yourself at the touch of a button with your massage and light therapy on the BrainLight massage chair (included in the price). A unique combination of audio-visual relaxation and Shiatsu massage chair provides the final touch of complete relaxation.
Bathe in sound and colored light. Float in concentrated warm brine and dream yourself into another world with Liquid Sound® at Toskana Therme Bad Sulza. In this cult venue for bathing fans, sound, alternating light effects and live music merge into a total work of art. The Liquid Sound® Club takes place on the first Saturday of every month from 20:00 to 23:00 and the thermal baths are transformed into a water-filled concert hall. Once a quarter there is the “Liquid Sound Club PLUS”, electronic music from the DJ and live music in dialog.
Liquid Sound® gives the water a voice. This is made possible with the help of a computer-controlled multimedia system. This provides the technical prerequisite for “bathing in light and music” and makes it possible to experience the richness of the acoustic underwater world. The concept was inspired by musical encounters with wild whales and dolphins.
