On the afternoon of 27 August 2020, people met for a special photo shoot at Niederburg Castle in Kranichfeld as part of our “Weimarer LandKlänge” campaign. Of course, the theme of dance is also part of this. People regularly get together in picturesque places in the Weimarer Land to meet for music and dance.
These include Niederburg Castle and Denstedt Castle, where tango is danced. Auerstedt and Bad Berka are home to very special festivals. The Apolda Music Summer is a very young festival.

Weimarer LandKlänge are out theme of the year 2020.
The theme year Music 2020 is a research task for the Weimarer Land. The task now is to find masters of their trade and make them ambassadors for our region and Thuringia. At the same time, it is important to present special spaces and places in the countryside where musical and natural sounds spread out in an unusual way and find their way into the ears and senses of the guests. In the end, they leave behind a feeling of connection with the land and its creators. For, speaking of the Weimarer Land, the bells begin to ring, the water starts to sing, then the park whispers and a barn becomes a concert hall. These are all good reasons for a Year of Music 2020 and for linking up with the designated travel occasions for Thuringia in the Weimarer Land.
